Veteran Sound Designer Mike Wood Keeps Sync with VK
VK brings big speed to the audio post process
Virtual Katy today announced that VK has been used on a number of high-profile projects by veteran sound editor Mike Wood. Working in sound post since 1983, Wood uses VK to accelerate the post process for every project he conforms including Wimbledon, Opal Dream, and Decameron.
Mike was trained in sound at the BBC and has had a varied career in radio, music, and television postproduction working on over 30 film and television projects as a sound editor/designer, including: "The White Countess" (James Ivory), "Wimbledon" (Richard Loncraine), "Hotel Rwanda" (Terry George), "The Wings of the Dove" (Iain Softley), "Tea with Mussolini" (Franco Zeffirelli), "Road to Perdition", (Sam Mendes), "Ordinary Decent Criminal" (Thaddeus O'Sullivan), "Tomb Raider" (Simon West), "The Four Feathers" (Shekhar Kapur) and "Anita and Me" (Metin Huseyin).
