It could be one of Hollywood's best kept secrets" says Sally Walsh, Founder and CEO. "It's truly a director's tool."

"We were shooting a unique sequence, different from our usual three camera setup," said Roger Christiansen, Director of Disney's new series, Hanna Montana. "I needed to show them how I envisioned 'the car running over Oprah' sequence. So I opened my laptop, fired up StoryBoard Quick, and in a few seconds, we were all on the same page for the series of shots."

The new version enhancements continue to work well within desktop and laptop environments making it easy for first unit and second unit directors to visualize their shots even on the set. Contour Design Focuses ShuttlePRO on Apple Aperture

Contour Design introduces settings to use ShuttlePRO with Apple Aperture

Contour Design has announced the release of new ShuttlePRO, ShuttlePRO V.2, and ShuttleXpress settings for Aperture, Apple's all-in-one post-production tool for photographers. The new ShuttlePRO settings dramatically enhance the user's experience and efficiency, greatly assisting in navigating through large numbers of photos and allowing for easy use of all of Aperture's tools.

"The interface of the ShuttlePRO's jog/shuttle wheel makes navigation through large numbers of photos effortless," said Mike Jackle, Contour Design's company spokesperson. "And by being able to access the cool tools in Aperture with just a touch of one of the Shuttle's buttons, the interface just gets better and better." The Aperture settings for the ShuttlePRO were created to maximize efficiency straight out of the box, but users can customize the settings in whatever configuration they want.

Rating photos can be time consuming as users makes decisions, but the ShuttlePRO makes the process more efficient. Assigning a five-star rating is as simple as pressing a single button and reducing that rating is done with the button next to it, all without the hand coming off the Shuttle. The other tools, including the Loupe, zoom, crop, rotate, and spot & patch tools, are also accessible with one button. Because the cursor doesn't need to be used to select a tool, it can stay on the location users want to work on, further increasing efficiency.

The new settings for Aperture are available for download at Contour Design's website, http://www.contourdesign.com.
